Tuesday night and Chef
Each Tuesday night the Chef of Modern indulges in cooking special dishes. In that evening the restaurant is open until the last diner leaves. The restaurant is lit with a soft light, pleasant music plays in the background and a breeze wonders through the balcony. The list of the finest Israeli wines, very carefully chosen, is displayed in our wine wall. Among the dishes served: a Jerusalem Tapas plater for a couple, Salmon tartare over tomato gazpacho, pasta leaves filled with stew with young artichoke, Sofrito chestnuts and Jerusalem artichoke, Chicken on black rice with pea cream and anchovies from the Bruegel market.
Vegetarian dishes such as Tagine onions stuffed with beans in tomato sauce and fennel seeds, Pastare with mushrooms from the Jerusalem mountains etc.
